SHORT ESCAPE, BURSA.

Salam people, well, I just came back from Bursa
yesterday. Lepas 2 minggu terkurung dalam bilik
disebabkan alerji panda pada musim bunga. Yeah! So last Wednesday
I decided to go to Bursa, and visiting a friend of mine at the same time.
Well, my place, Kocaeli and Bursa are in the same region,
Marmara region, so yeah we are surrounded by sea. :) Bursa is
one of the most industrialized city in Turkey, and actually Bursa
was a major city during the Ottoman Empire in the
14th century. From distance you can see Uludag Mountain.
Snow dah mula cair tau sekarang ni, tapi masih banyak lagi
lah, dan boleh korang bayang how fresh the small streams are
bila salji mencair? Oh, memang best!

I did nothing much there since my aim was to visit my
friend there. I was staying at her house for the whole 4 days,
we cooked good food too. Haha.

On the second day there, we went for sightseeing in
the city, visiting Ulu Camii or Ulu Mosque (Grand Mosque),
was built in 1396-1400. The best thing being living in Turkey is,
you can see thousands of mosques, big and small, which has been built
for hundred of years, I love visiting them a lot. The architectures
are impressive. I went into the
mosque, am just wah..... MasyaAllah. It was
quiet crowded there, and yes we saw visitors from
Malaysia too, with cameras besar badak everything. Haha.
Hobi aku kalau pi masjid2 kat Turki ni, kalau aku dah solat
jamak siap2, aku akan buat solat sunat tahiyatul masjid.
At least aku merasa solat kat masjid tu, kan?

A stream running wild in the middle of the ancient city of Bursa,
straight from Uludaq Mountain.

Menuju kejayaan sambil chanting nasi biriyani for million times!

On the next day, we went to a place called Golyazi or also known
as Appolonia. It is an ancient city, you still can see
the ruins of Romans around the island. My friend and I had
a tour around the lake for just 10 lira per head.
It was satisfying, seriously. The view, the air, the company,
and the mak cik who was the boat captain. Ahaha.

Ni lah artisnya, Kak Ti a.k.a Tsiqah Nasir. :D My host.

Mama, papa , I miss you. Thehehe.

You jump, I snap picture.

Kat sini ramai yang pakai dapur kayu.

Kenapa muka aku flawless gile??

You can see Uludag Mountain from afar, covered with snow.

Dalam cobaan mengayuh, aku main kayak pandai, tapi rowing boat ni berat dol. Salute mak cik tuh!

Inilah the win salad that I told you!

Lepas penat main-main kat pulau tu, kitorang pon
macam lapar, pastu macam nak makan binatang
bak kata kak ti, so kat situ confirm binatang yang sedap
ialah ikan. So we decided to eat animal fish. Haha.
We went to a restaurant with a view. Yang kelakarnye masa
kitorang masuk restoran tu pastu found us a the best table,
it took like few minutes before the waiter to come, sebab
die panggil kawan dia yang boleh berbahasa Inggeris. Once
diorang tahu kitorang boleh cakap Turki, dia macam wahh,
aku dah takut tadi. Haha. Kitorang gelak je. So I had
tuna and kak ti had yayin (catfish). The salad was the best!
Sebab die letak balsamic sauce. Nanges makan salad tu, sedap sangat!

Pastu tengah2 makan jugak, tetiba ada a guy approach us and tanya
Malaysian? Kitorang pon macam yep! Malaysians. Haha. Actually he is
Palestinian, but married to a Turkish woman, he stayed in US
back then and met his wife there, so his wife's wali hakim
was a Malaysian. haha. Kelakar gilos, pastu dok ulang
words Melayu yang dia tahu which is letak garam dalam makanan
or something, aku dah tak ingat, had a conversation with his wife
too etc. It was a great experience. You know what, Malaysians
has a very good name here in Turkey and other countries aorund
here especially Middle East. So sila bawa nama tu dengan baik.

Lepas makan, kitorang kejar bus balik bandar Bursa semula
around 5.30 pm, sambil belasah eskrem. It was hot that day,
hari tu dapat sunburn, selepas beberapa bulan kulit
tak dicium matahari terik. That day, the temperature sore to
20. Okay, till then people. Take care then.
Love, hugs and kisses from
Kocaeli, Turkey. <3
